    New program to train Hidalgo County teens for careers in vet science

    Veterinary science program:A Texas A&M program to prepare high school students for careers in veterinary science is expanding to Hidalgo County.

    The local Texas AgriLIFE Extension office will host an introductory meeting for parents and youth interested in the veterinary science program from 6 to 8 p.m.
