NEAR McALLEN – The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is investigating an alleged armed robbery late Friday night just outside of the McAllen city limits.

According to preliminary information, a man was driving a white Astro van along Farm-to-Market Road 107 just west of Ware Road when at least three vehicles boxed him in.
