Choirs from around the world set to compete at International Choral Festival
By DONNA SYVERTSON of the Missoulian

An origami crane, the international symbol of peace, anchors the 2006 International Choral Festival admission button.

Seventeen choirs from 12 countries will perform during the seventh choral festival, which is set for July 13-15 in Missoula.

Allowing admission to the 20 concerts, the buttons are $8 per person or $15 per family in advance or, if bought at the concerts, $10 per person and $20 per family. Family buttons for relatives living in the same household must be bought at one time and each family member must have a button.

The buttons are available in Missoula at all Albertsons stores, the Good Food Store, Rosauers, the Safeway on South Reserve Street, Worden's Market, Fact & Fiction, the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce, the Missoula Downtown Association, Rockin Rudy's and the Guest Services Desk in Southgate Mall.

They also are available at Harvest Foods in the Lolo Shopping Center, at Gary & Leo's Fresh Foods in Florence and at Chapter One Book Store in Hamilton.

Visit www.choralfestival.org for a complete schedule of the concerts and a look at the choirs.
