    Obama arrives in Shanghai for first China visit

    US President Barack Obama Sunday evening arrived in the eastern Chinese port city of Shanghai for his first official visit to China.

    Obama Monday will hold a question-and-answer session with 500 students, where he will also field questions from internet users. The session is to be broadcast live.

    After Monday's session, Obama is to move on to Beijing for meetings with Chinese President Hu Jintao and other members of the country's leadership.
