    Shiels stays a Hawk

    Shiels, named the Hawks' most-improved player last season, has signed a deal tying him to the club until the end of 2014.

    The 20-year-old is the second Hawk to recommit this year after defender Josh Gibson extended his contract until the end of 2014.
