    Driver crashes into pole, listed in critical condition

    BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police said a man was badly injured when his car slammed into a utility pole Thursday night.

    According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, the crash happened in the 600 block of North 19th Street around 9:35 p.m.

    Officers said the fire department had to help get the man out of his car.
