    10 DWI arrests made at Charlotte checkpoint

    Ten motorists were arrested overnight at a DWI checkpoint in northeast Charlotte, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.Sgt.

    David Sloan said CMPD and officers from the Cornelius, Matthews, Mint Hill and Pineville police departments conducted the checkpoint from 11 p.m.
