Taliban kills four 'US spies' in Pakistan
    Herald Globe
    Sunday 21st March, 2010
    (IANS)

Taliban militants have killed four tribesmen they abducted 10 days ago in Pakistan's north Waziristan tribal region after accusing them of spying for the US, officials said Sunday.

Their bullet-riddled bodies were found Sunday, DawnNews quoted the officials as saying.

A note near one of the victims said in Pashto: 'Spies are spies, and they will (meet) the same fate as these men. ... Do not spy for America.'

A villager said he heard gun shots Saturday night. When he went to the mosque for morning prayers, he found the bodies dumped along the road that leads to Miramshah, the main city of the tribal region.
