Actress Sandra Bullock's ex-husband Jesse James and tattoo artist Kat Von D have made their first public appearance as a couple.

James, 41, and Von D, 28, had tried to keep their new relationship under wraps, but they were seen together at the opening of Von D's Wonderland gallery in West Hollywood.

"Jesse is only my ninth boyfriend. I don't hang out with anybody unless I am in love," the New York Daily News quoted the 'LA Ink' star as telling People magazine.

She was asked if she thought the motorcycle mechanic is "The One".

"I believe he is, so yeah," she stated.

Von D, who bears a striking physical resemblance to many of the tattooed women who claimed to be James' mistresses during his five-year marriage to Bullock, said she isn't scared of her new beau's dramatic personal life.

"I stayed away from that as much as possible, and when we connected recently, it was such a positive thing," she said.

"It was just like, 'Wow, I can't believe I haven't spent this much time with you the entire time I've known you.' Now I'm just embracing it and enjoying it," she added. (ANI)
