Lady Gaga lending hand in dad's restaurant

Lady Gaga has got her hands dirty helping her father in the kitchen of his new Italian restaurant.

The 'Pokerface' hitmaker has been helping dad Joe Germanotta prepare for the big opening of his New York venue, called Joanne Trattoria.

Gaga has advised him on what to put on the menu, which is full of family recipes including a ten-layer lasagne, Grandma Rosie's Meatballs, mini-martinis and Nutella doughnuts.

"It's a real family effort. They've all been getting stuck in," the Sun quoted a source as saying.

The singer has commissioned her sister Natali, a budding designer, to create art for the walls and the restaurant will be run by her dad and US celebrity chef Art Smith.

Even though Joe is more than happy to have his famous daughter's help, he dreads it every time she reaches for a knife.

"She's left-handed and every time I watch her chop, it makes me cringe. I'd keep her on pot wash," he added. (ANI)
